Signing In for the First Time

If you're having trouble logging in, skip to our troubleshooting section at the bottom of the page.

If you're logging in for the first time, there are two different options:

  1. If your school uses Google Apps for Education, you'll be able to log in using single sign-in. (Hint: If your school email looks like Gmail, you can use this option!)
  2. Otherwise, follow the steps below to activate your account.

Activating your account

From the login screen, choose the option to Activate your Account.

Enter your school email address, and then type and confirm your password. (If the passwords do not match, or if you have CAPS lock on, we'll let you know). Click 'Activate my Account!'

We'll send you an email verification to make sure that it's really you logging in to the account. Check your inbox and click on the link in the email to confirm. It'll take you back to the login page where you can enter your email address and password to get in.

Logging in using Google single sign on

From the login screen, select the option to Sign in with Google.

Then, choose your school account to log in. You may also be prompted to allow TeachBoost access to your account information and Drive files. If so, accept these to proceed.

(Note: We only use this information to log you in to TeachBoost and to let you easily upload files from your Drive to TeachBoost).

That's it!

Troubleshooting

I've forgotten my password

No problem—it's easy to reset. Head to our reset password page. (You can also click on the Reset Password link on the login screen).

  1. Enter your TeachBoost account email address in the Email box. Then click the Reset Password button.

  2. Check your email inbox for an email from us. Click the link in that email to get to the Change Password page.

  3. On the Change Password page, enter the password you'd like to use, and then retype to confirm. Press the Change Password button.

After these steps you've successfully reset your password to the new password you just entered. You'll sign in to TeachBoost with this password now.

I'm receiving an error message that my email and password do not match

  • Double-check that you're entering your school or organization email address.
  • If your school uses Google Apps for Education, you'll be able to log in using single sign-on. (Hint: If your school email looks like Gmail, you can use this option!)
  • Reset your password.
